Day 01: Mandalay Arrival
Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by Luxury Asia Trips’ private guide and driver. They then escort you to the hotel in Yangon. After checking into the hotel, relax at leisure.

Day 02: Mandalay Half-day Excursion
Today, we enjoy a half-day tour to Mingun. Start from your hotel in Mandalay. Your private guide and driver will pick you up the wharf for a boat trip on the Ayeyarwady River to Mingun (about 11 km and 1 hour) upriver from Mandalay. Upon arrival, we will make our first visit to Mingun Bell, a magnificent sight of the world’s second-largest bell (90 tons). Take a leisure walk to Hsinbyume Paya aka Myatheindan Pagoda, an impressive white-washed temple noted for its fabulous architecture constructed like the shape of Mt Meru. Finally, fulfill your excursion to Mingun by heading to the unfinished Mingun Paya. The place was built as one of the largest chedis in the world by King Bodaw Paya. You will go back to Mandalay by boat.

Day 03: Bagan
Today, take a short flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, your private guide & driver will warmly welcome you and then, they escort you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day will yours. Relax at leisure.

Day 04: Bagan Half-day Trip
Today, we enjoy a half-day temple trip. If you want to experience the authentic daily life of the locals in the morning, you can choose to get up early and go to Nyaung U Market. Wander around the market area, you will taste, smell, and see the real-life of people.
Then, make our way to Shwezigon Pagoda to admire the magnificent golden stupas housing the sacred relics of the Buddha. Here, listen to your guide about the 9 wonders of the pagoda just before driving to Ananda temple. We also visit the local lacquerware workshop to see the adapted artisans create unique items. En route, stop at some spots to marvel at some old-aged temples.

Day 05: Bagan – Hot Air Balloon Ride & Village Discovery
Today, take an opportunity to enjoy a hot air balloon ride to admire the entire archaeological region of Bagan. It takes you 45 minutes in total. Getting into such an activity, you will float over thousands of temples catted on the plain that reveals its beauty as the sun flickers into the endless sky.
(Hot Air Balloon Ride is available from October to April and it is constantly full during this time. So, if you want to enjoy, please tell us so we are able to arrange this activity for you).
After a joyful ride, we head to the heart of Bagan to pay a visit to the peaceful villages. It’s time to bump into and have a little chit-chat with the locals.

Day 06: Yangon

Day 07: Yangan Half-day Trip
Today, we will enjoy a half-day tour in Yangon passing by the colonial-style buildings in the city center. Our first place will be Sule Pagoda, a holy pagoda noted for its 44 meters high golden stupa dating back to 2500 years ago from the time of the Buddha. We then head to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda which is one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in Yangon housing the massive 66 meters long magnificent reclining Buddha. Once there, ready to be tiny while standing in front of the Buddha statue & listen to your guide introducing the significant role of the pagoda to the Burmese art, religion as well as spirituality.day tours Yangon-chauk htat gyi pagoda.
Afterward, we traverse to Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake, which will give you a tranquil ambiance to relax and behold the magnificent Karaweik Hall – one of the most wonderful landmarks of Yangon, infamous as a ‘hamsa-bird-shaped’ floating barge mirroring its golden hue to the calm water. Later on, spend some time discovering the Bogyoke (Scotts) Market which is a paradise of shopping in Yangon with hundreds of food, handicrafts, clothes and gems stores (the market is closed on Mondays and gazette holiday). Your half-day city tour will end up with a visit to the world’s most spectacular Buddhist heritages – the Shwedagon Pagoda (the Golden Pagoda). Standing on the top of Singuttara Hill, it can be seen from everywhere. Enjoy the fantastic view on the platform when the golden hue of the pagoda melted into the fancy light at sunset before transferring to the hotel.

Day 08: Ngapali
Enjoy an early breakfast at your hotel, then travel back to Sittwe by luxury boat. Sit on the deck and watch the scenery change as you draw nearer to the Bay of Bengal. In Sittwe, you have time to explore the main market to watch local fisher families and farmers ply their wares, before making your way to the airport to take the short flight to Thandwe. On the ground, you’ll be transferred to your resort in Ngapali Beach, a long stretch of golden sand fringed by palm trees and clear blue waters.

Day 09: Ngapali
For the final days of your journey, enjoy free time on the beach. Ngapali Beach offers the type of tranquility that’s becoming increasingly difficult to find in Southeast Asia, and most guests here relish the opportunity to simply relax.

Enjoy more beach leisure time today. Alternatively, for those seeking activity, the Bay of Bengal offers sailing, snorkeling and fishing, you can take a tour of nearby villages with a private guide, there are mangroves to explore, and there’s golf. If desired, we can help organize a romantic dinner on the beach.

Day 11: Ngapali
Today is the last day of your Myanmar journey, so be extra good to yourself. At your resort, you can also indulge in spa therapies, enjoy cocktails by the pool You’ll be transferred to the airport where you’ll catch your departing flight to Yangon. The trip ends.
